FASTer Way To Fat Loss - low carb snacks

When jumping on the FWTFL program, one of the hardest days to wrap my mind around was Monday and Tuesday- low carb days. Now, everyone’s macros will look different and custom to their fitness goals, but we all will experience low carb days together. So here are a few products and snacks I love to hit my fat and protein goals while maintaining a 50g of net carb goal for the day.

If you’re new to the FWTFL program, make sure to read my guide here.

FASTer Way To Fat Loss incorporates carb cycling to help your body burn fat and provide you with mental clarity. I’ve been doing the FWTFL program for 8 months now and have found myself more energized while still being able to enjoy life with our friends and family.

Low carb Snack Recipes

Half an avocado with soft boiled egg

My favorite way to make this snack is by first cooking the soft boiled egg. We bring a pot of water to boil, drop in 2-3 eggs, and let them cook for 6 mins. Once the eggs are cooked, remove them from the pot and remove the shell. Then slice half of an avocado, add your soft boiled egg into the center, top with hot sauce and enjoy!

Tuna salad

This is our go-to snack and lunch option for low carb days! We take 2-3 cans of tuna and prep this recipe for the week. Here’s what we do when using 3 cans of tuna: add the canned tuna to a sealable container, add in 1/8 cup of mayo and stir. Sprinkle in pepper, minced onion, red pepper flakes and sliced cucumber. Stir all together and enjoy! We love adding this tuna salad to lettuce wraps and on top of cucumbers.

Buffalo cauliflower (toss in the air fryer for an extra crunch) with blue cheese

If you love spice this snack is for you! We cut up a head of cauliflower into bite-sized pieces, toss in a bowl with buffalo sauce and throw it into our air fryer (this is the air fryer we have) for 15mins. Once the cauliflower is crispy place it on a plate and top with blue cheese.
