Must Try Smoothie Bowls

Smoothie bowls make the perfect way to break your fast during summer, they’re totally delicious, and they’re healthy too! From berry, to chocolate, and even banana, here are some smoothie bowl recipes I’m loving!

I just recently started another FWTFL round and loving switching up the smoothie bowls for low and high carb days. Without anymore delay, let’s dive in!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Madness

I don’t know about you, but I prefer my smoothies thick so I can eat it like ice cream with a bowl and spoon. This one will satisfy all your choccy cravings and will help to keep you going throughout the morning.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 chopped frozen banana

  • 1 cup spinach

  • 1 tbsp thick probiotic coconut yoghurt

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 1 scoop Chocolate protein powder

  • 3/4 cup dairy-free milk to blend!

Topping ideas:

  • Peanut butter

  • Chia seeds

  • Purely Elizabeth Granola

  • Cacao nibs

  • Coconut shreds

METHOD

  1. In a high speed blender add all the ingredients and blend until creamy. If it is struggling to blend, add more milk until it does!

  2. Spoon into a bowl and top with your favorite additions! I topped mine with peanut butter, cacao nibs, chia seeds and coconut chips.

Strawberry Banana Madness

This smoothie bowl is hands down my favorite on high carb day! Packed full of flavor and tastes straight like summer.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 chopped frozen banana

  • 1 1/2 cups of frozen strawberries

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 2 Scoops of FFactor vanilla protein

  • 3/4 cup dairy-free milk to blend!

Topping ideas:

  • Chia seeds

  • Purely Elizabeth Granola

  • Cacao nibs

  • Coconut shreds

  • Banana

Berry Twist

Craving berries but on a low carb day? This smoothie bowl will curb your craving without breaking the carb bank.

  • 1 1/2 cups of frozen mixed berries

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed

  • 2 Scoops of FFactor vanilla protein

  • 3/4 cup dairy-free milk to blend!

Topping ideas:

  • Chia seeds

  • Purely Elizabeth Blueberry Granola

  • Cacao nibs

  • Coconut shreds
